Teresa Giudice Called ‘Rudest Person Ever’ By Podcast Host Following An Interview

Teresa Giudice was slammed by a Boston radio personality after a live interview on Monday, November 28. After their interview went south, Billy Costa dubbed the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star a “idiot” and the “rudest person ever.”

“She was easily, hands down, the rudest person I’ve ever interviewed,” Billy said after the interview on his “Billy & Lisa in the Morning” show. Teresa called in to promote an event she’s co-hosting in Lynn, Massachusetts.

Following her 11-month stint in prison in 2015, Billy apparently asked the Bravo star about writing her book “Turning the Tables.” “Teresa, we know you were in prison for a while, but you came out and wrote a book – a best-seller – about your time there, and did it focus a lot on the food in prison?” Billy inquired.

Teresa responded by stating that she did not “want to talk about that.” “I don’t know if you know this, but I’m a four-time New York Times bestselling author,” the 50-year-old reality TV star continued. Teresa didn’t let go when the host tried to move on and change the subject to the event she’s promoting.

She stated, “[We’ll] have a good time, and it’s all about being optimistic, right? And not at all negative? That is something you should learn.” In response, the host said he’d “work on that,” while co-host Justin Aguirre said they weren’t being “negative” because her book is “part of [her] bio” and was given to them by the “RHONJ” star’s publicist.

“I have a podcast called ‘Namaste B***hes,’ [and] you should listen to it and learn how to be a little more namaste,” Teresa continued. Her representative then cut her off and encouraged the hosts to attend her client’s event.

After Teresa hung up, the hosts immediately slammed the former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant. “I did time in prison, too,” Justin explained. “You said, ‘Yeah, you did time in prison, but you got out, you wrote a successful book,’ which it was – it was a huge book.”

He also claimed that they “avoided” all of the topics they were told not to inquire about. It included her strained relationship with brother Joe Gorga, as well as social media backlash for wearing Balenciaga during the controversy. When asked if he still wanted to attend her event, Billy responded, “I don’t even want a coffee with Teresa Giudice.”

Meanwhile, Teresa’s publicist and attorney, James J. Leonard Jr., issued a statement to Page Six defending his client. “I think Mr. Costa needs to work on being a little more namaste like Teresa – he seemed to be looking for a confrontation or his moment,” the attorney said. “I would advise him to listen to Teresa’s podcast, ‘Namaste B***hes,’ so that he can work on himself and learn how to properly treat guests on his show.”
